Product Description

SMT-S2T is a one-component, acetic acid curing silicone sealant. It boasts excellent flexibility, waterproof performance, aging resistance, UV resistance, high and low temperature resistance and durability, as well as outstanding adhesion. It is an ideal sealing material for civil assembly applications such as architectural glass, doors, windows and display windows.

- Sealing and bonding joints of other building materials including aluminum alloy, ceramic tiles, plastic, wood, etc.

- This product is supplied in standard 300ml sealant cartridges, 24 cartridges per carton. Custom filling is available per customer requirements.

Usage Instructions

Before application:


- Prior to application, compatibility tests between the sealant and contacting materials as well as adhesion tests on the substrates to be bonded shall be carried out.

Construction Method:


- All application surfaces must be clean, dry and free of contaminants.

- Fit the cartridge into a suitable caulking gun. Cut the nozzle according to joint width, then extrude sealant into the joint to ensure full contact between sealant and joint edges.

- Compact the sealant with a proper tool and scrape off excess material.

Limitations & Guidelines

- Direct contact with the reflective coating of mirrors is not recommended.

- Not suitable for locations under continuous water immersion or with year-round high humidity.

- Not applicable to easily corroded or hard-to-bond substrates such as copper, brass, zinc, magnesium, electroplated layers, polycarbonate, polyethylene and Teflon.

- Not suitable for alkaline substrates including cement, stone and concrete (prone to fogging and oil bleeding).

- Not for underground joints or food contact surfaces.

- Do not construct when the substrate surface temperature is lower than 5℃ or higher than 40℃.

- Unsuitable for all substrates that exude grease, plasticizers or solvents, such as oil-impregnated wood surfaces.

- Shall not be used as structural sealant.

- Avoid contact with rubber materials (e.g. rubber strips, rubber gaskets).

- The bonding surface must be clean, dry and free of contaminants.

- Use within the shelf life; expired products are prohibited from use.

- Construction must be carried out strictly in accordance with adhesion test procedures.

- Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes; do not ingest.

- Keep out of reach of children.

- Trace chemicals will be released during curing. Sufficient ventilation must be maintained at the workplace; the cured sealant is non-toxic to human bodies.
