This product is a colored sand tile grout based on waterborne epoxy technology. Featuring a unique formula, it can be simply cleaned with plain water. It is available in a wide range of customizable colors with flexible color matching effects and will not stain tiles. Embedded colored glass particles deliver a rich texture and soft color tone, and the product is non-toxic to the human body.
Application Areas
- Suitable for grouting various building materials such as all types of stone, ceramic tiles and glass mosaics, with applicable joint widths of 1–5 mm
Package
- Part A and Part B are packed in plastic pails. Custom filling specifications are available upon customer request.
Before application:
- Thoroughly clean all joints to be grouted with a minimum joint depth of 2 mm. Remove excess mortar, grease, debris, tile spacers and any other contaminants that may compromise grout application and final finish.
- Vacuum loose dust inside joints completely, then wipe tile surfaces with a damp sponge. Allow all residual moisture to evaporate fully before grouting. Do not clean tile or stone surfaces with acidic cleaners prior to grouting.
- Recommended substrate temperature ranges from 10℃ to 35℃. For tiles and stones installed with thin-bed method, grouting can be carried out 24 hours after installation at ambient temperature. For thick-bed installation, cure the substrate for at least 14 days or longer before grouting to allow sufficient evaporation of moisture from the bonding layer.
- Mixing Ratio: Part A : Part B =10 : 1.
- Mechanical mixing is mandatory until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is formed.
- Hand mixing is not recommended. The blended material has a pot life of around 1 hour at 23℃.
Construction Method:
- Apply the product into joints with a plastic squeegee or special rubber squeegee, fully and evenly filling all gaps on the working surface, then scrape off excess grout completely.
- Working time and curing speed are greatly affected by ambient temperature. The optimal construction temperature ranges from 10℃ to 35℃. Within this temperature range, the product maintains a smooth, easily shapeable mortar consistency.
- Add clean water to the filled surface first, then wipe with a damp sponge using clockwise and counterclockwise circular motions. This step fully seals tile edges while removing surplus grout from tile surfaces.
- Next, wring out a clean sponge and perform secondary wiping diagonally across tiles to absorb residual moisture and leftover grout, while preserving intact joint profiles with smooth, clean surfaces.
- Construction is not recommended when substrate surface temperature is below 5℃ or above 40℃.
- Not suitable for application on ethylene, asphalt, rubber, glazed tiles, paving bricks, quarry tiles, mosaics or similar materials.
- Do not dilute this product. Adding thinner will slow curing, degrade product performance and alter the proper recoating interval.
- Surfaces to be grouted must be clean, dry and free of dirt and contaminants.
- Use the product within its shelf life; expired material shall not be used.
- Carry out construction strictly in accordance with specified operating procedures.
- Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Do not ingest.
- Keep out of reach of children and store in an area inaccessible to minors.
- Trace chemical vapors will be released during curing. Ensure adequate ventilation at the work site. The fully cured product is non-toxic to humans.
