Performance Characteristics:
•Ketoxime-curing system with neutral cure, non-corrosive to most construction materials.
•Class 35 movement capability. It maintains stable performance under normal expansion, contraction and shear deformation of curtain walls.
•Outstanding weather aging resistance, excellent resistance against aging, UV rays, ozone and water.
•Superior resistance to high and low temperatures. After curing, it will not turn brittle, harden or crack at -50℃, nor soften or degrade at 150℃, retaining favorable strength and elasticity.
•One-component and easy to handle, with good extrudability and thixotropy within 5℃ to 40℃.
•Excellent adhesion performance on most construction substrates.
•Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
SMT-611 is a neutral ketoxime-curing silicone weatherproof sealant with excellent elasticity and joint movement accommodation capacity. It provides reliable adhesion to various powder-coated metals. Its thixotropic property prevents sagging during construction joint filling, making it especially suitable for weather sealing of various curtain walls. Moreover, it delivers outstanding adhesion and compatibility with most substrate surfaces. With great resistance to aging, UV radiation and extreme temperature fluctuations, it can be widely used in various bonding and sealing applications.

Before application:
- Prior to application, compatibility tests between the sealant and contacting materials as well as adhesion tests on the substrates to be bonded shall be carried out.
Construction Method:
- All application surfaces must be clean, dry and free of contaminants.
- Fit the cartridge into a suitable caulking gun. Cut the nozzle according to joint width, then extrude sealant into the joint to ensure full contact between sealant and joint edges.
- Compact the sealant with a proper tool and scrape off excess material.
- Not recommended for joints with movement exceeding ±30%.
- Must not be used as structural glazing sealant.
- Not suitable for copper and polycarbonate substrates.
- Construction is not allowed when the substrate surface temperature is lower than 5℃ or higher than 40℃.
- Unsuitable for frosty, damp areas or locations with continuous water immersion.
- Avoid contact with rubber materials (such as rubber gaskets, rubber spacers, etc.) to prevent yellowing.
- Prevent contact with acidic or alkaline substances (e.g. exterior wall cleaning agents) to avoid discoloration.
- Not applicable to substrates that bleed grease, plasticizers or solvents, such as surfaces of oil-impregnated wood.
- Use within the shelf life; expired products are forbidden for application.
- Construction must be carried out strictly in accordance with adhesion test procedures.
- Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes; do not ingest.
- Keep out of reach of children and store in a place inaccessible to minors.
- Do not apply in airtight and poorly ventilated spaces, as the sealant cures by absorbing moisture from the air.
- Trace chemical substances will be released during the curing process. Sufficient ventilation shall be maintained at the construction site. The fully cured sealant is non-toxic to human bodies.
